About our Program
In our ministries, we strive to share the love of Christ at all times, and to continually become more like Him. We do not require that our students share our faith, but we do require our students to respect our faith. Many theatre programs can be competitive and sometimes even outright cruel. The goal of this ministry is to provide a theatre program where students learn to work together, encourage one another, and grow in skills and faith. We want to be a drama program without the “drama.” We are a no-cut theatre ministry, which means that anyone who signs up will get a part. There is a place on stage for everyone!
The Crosspoint Community Church Youth Theatre Ministry is a donation-based program that serves the local community. We do not charge tuition, or require a donation in order for your child to participate. We do have suggested donations for community programs that help us cover the cost of materials. We do not charge for tickets, but instead have a freewill offering at the door to help us cover the expenses of the sets, costumes, scripts, and sound equipment for the productions.
